OCD is an anxiety-related disorder. It affects approximately 1.2% of the population.
Someone suffering from OCD will have repetitive or obsessional thoughts, images or feelings that leave them feeling anxious. This will cause the person to carry out repetitive behaviours, actions or rituals a number of times, in order to ease this anxiety. E.g. Repeatedly checking the gas hob is turned off.

Unfortunately, for a lot of OCD sufferers, none of the above therapies or medications work and so they are left with nowhere to turn for treatment.
rTMS is a new therapy aimed at targeting the specific brain circuits affected by OCD.
Many trials have supported the significant effect that rTMS has as a treatment form of treatment for OCD. Smart TMS has treated many OCD sufferers successfully with TMS.
